Automatic L sealer with shrink tunnel

A complete L-sealer and tunnel route for automatic shrink wrapping of cartons, boxes and presentation packs.

System layout

Why the sealer and tunnel must be specified together

The L-sealer creates the sealed film bag, but the final pack quality is made in the heat tunnel. If the tunnel is too small, too short or has poor airflow, the pack may wrinkle, burn, balloon or leave loose corners. For that reason, the sealing frame, film width, conveyor speed and tunnel specification should be selected as one system.

Typical use

Where automatic L-sealer tunnel systems work well

This route is commonly used for boxed food, cosmetics, printed items, stationery, e-commerce products, phone accessories and similar retail cartons. It is well suited where a tidy, transparent shrink wrap is needed without placing the product into a tray.
