Lancing UK shrink wrapping machinery
Compare the main shrink wrapping routes used for cartons, retail packs, multipacks and presentation packaging.
Machine selection
A shrink wrapping machine should be chosen around the product size, pack stability, required presentation finish, film type and target output. For boxed products and printed goods, an automatic L-sealer with a heat tunnel is often the cleanest route. For lower volume work, a chamber sealer may be enough. For trays and grouped bottles, a sleeve sealer with a larger tunnel may be more suitable.
Lancing UK can review pack samples, film expectations and available floor space before recommending a machine route. This avoids buying a sealer that looks suitable in isolation but cannot deliver the required finish when combined with a tunnel and conveyor layout.
Options
Quotation detail
For an accurate quotation, provide product dimensions, pack weight, photos of the product, film preference if known, target packs per minute, power supply, compressed air availability and whether the machine must connect to existing conveyors. These details allow the sealing aperture, tunnel aperture and conveyor height to be checked before supply.
Quick answers
It depends on pack size, product stability, required speed and film. Cartons often suit an L-sealer and heat tunnel, while grouped packs often suit a sleeve sealer.
Sometimes, but the tunnel aperture, conveyor width, airflow and heat capacity must match the largest pack and required output.
Yes. Lancing UK supplies and supports shrink wrapping machinery for UK packaging lines.
