Film and machine matching
Shrink film selection and machine selection should be considered together. The same product can behave differently depending on film type, film gauge, seal temperature, tunnel dwell time and product stability.

POF is often reviewed for clear, fully enclosed presentation shrink wrapping around cartons, books and retail boxes.
PE is often reviewed for stronger grouped packs, trays, multipacks and heavier transit-style shrink wrapping.
The film choice affects seal temperature, tunnel heat, airflow, belt speed, perforation and film width. Quoting a machine without film context can lead to poor shrink results.
